Heartbreak

After but a few months, Nicci was on her way to the Concoria moon to deliver a gift to Mand'alor who was there overseeing plans for a war against the Death Watch.  The gift was her choker, which was a tooth from a Drexl her father had slain and given to her when she was young.  She wanted to give it to him so he would have something to think of her by when he was away.

However, when she approached him, The Mand'alor told her he had fallen in love with someone else, and that he could no longer be with her.  Heartbroken, she let her gift fall in the snow, and departed the moon.
