Nicci, Mand'alor, and the Wicked Blade

[20:06] Nicci Sularen Ordo stepped into the battle circle when she saw A'denla standing in it, grinning with a bloodlust that was true to her nature. "Well I had wanted to have a few drinks tonight, but I think they can wait, "she said, placing her hands on her hips.  "You patted me earlier you know.  Been wanting to punch you for it all day," she said in what quite obviously seemed a challenge. [20:10] A'denla Kad (unlivedphalanx.mcmahon) stood at the battle circle, being prepared to practice his own techniques on his own, or any who volunteered themselves to be tested on. He looked up toward Nicci who quite blatantly challenged him. The Mandalore welcomed this immediately, offering her a nod, "An affectionate pat." He replied harshly, "But if they earn me more fights, I'll have to do them more often.." As a defender by tradition, he chose the terms, and his hand would rest on the bottom of his large Axe's handle, tapping his boot on the dirt of the circle, "How much tal are you willing to let spill?" [20:18] Nicci Sularen Ordo grinned wickedly, a bloodthirsty snarl leaving her lips as her hand reached for her own blade, "Whatever the Mand'alor is willing to spill is good enough for his Alor," she purred, though it was a rough sound that sounded more like a lioness than a cat.  The sword came free of the scabbard, and immediately the crackling of a foreign power could be heard ripping at the night air as lightning kissed the blade she wielded.  She had not drawn the blade in a while, so it had not fed, and almost immediately, the blade gravitated towards a man who was standing nearby.  She was not Force Sensitive, but the blade seemed almost as if it was the embodyment of emotion, and it was raging.  It jerked her a few times in Hoggil's direction, and she yanked it back.  She smirked when she recognized Hoggil was a Jedi, almost moving toward him to grant her blade's desire to feed on the Force User.  She refrained however, afterall it was the Mand'alor she had challenged. "Later," she hissed at the blade, and brandished it wit [20:18] Nicci Sularen Ordo  slow spin until the tip rounded to face A'denla, poised in mid air. "I will feel insulted if you go easy on me," she grinned. [20:22] Hoggil Torok had been caught walking down the street in full ceremonial Jedi garb for the first time since he walked the great halls of the Coruscant Jedi temple. The Jedi conclave he was hosting on a distant world was just a day away and he wanted to be sure he was ready. His eyes fell to the two mandalorians in the ring and he stopped to watch them fight. "Might as well." he mutters under his breath and takes out a pipe to enjoy himself with. He might even learn something. His brows twitched as the sword Nicci drew came to life with electricity and a nauseatingly dark presence in the force "That's interesting." he whispers to himself, now glad that he stopped to watch. [20:28] A'denla Kad (unlivedphalanx.mcmahon) would nod slowly. he had longed for a good fight against another mando'ad; the prospect of defeat was something he didn't fear, he embraced every prospect of violence, of battle. If he were to get defeated, then he would die with honor and with joy against another of his people, and knowing another, more worthy Warrior would take his place. The Elder Mandalorian now would not be facing the young girl he trained, but a Chieftain of Clan ordo, and as such she would be taken just as seriously. He would unsheath his large Axe, crafted of beskar by Clan Dralshy'a and made to replicate the ancient Mythosaur bone axes used by Mandalores Indomitable and Ultimate. He would point the Axe in her direction, "Your-move." he said in the harshest of ways, allowing his bloodlust to overcome him in this instance, before readying his Axe, poised for battle, ready to meet her own sword. [20:41] Nicci Sularen Ordo grinned, hoping he would say that.  She ignited her jetpack suddenly, lunging at him with an incredible speed, her sword brandished in front of her so she did not leave him an opening to cut her down in mid air, pulling the sword back at the last instant before she hit him, aiming the sharp, crackling tip right for the joint connecting his cybernetic arm to his torso, just between the points where his beskar armor covered it, attempting to use the electrified weapon to short it out and render the arm useless right as the battle was starting.  If this were successful she would allow the jetpack to run until she had sent him crashing to the ground, her own body on top of him while she attempted to pull the sword free. [20:55] A'denla Kad (unlivedphalanx.mcmahon) seemed, to the eyes of others, emotionless. he had not expected such a furious charge, but he was in a readied, defensive posture, prepared to send off whatever t was that was thrown at him. There was no way however that a being could cleanly dodge such a charge, but the Mandalore tried to move regardless. Though her large blade missed it's mark, she did successfully barrel into him, smashing her body against his, and ending up with her above him. smearing the back of his armore with the dirt of the circle, and seeing him let out a pained snarl at the strength of the impact. his axe, as heavy as it was, would be flung from his hand at the impact, landing just outside of the arena. he gave her no time to proceed with another attack however, and would try to bring his right armored forearm across her helmetter head, essentially trying to back-arm her to get her off. If it worked, the mandalore would rise to his feet, hurting from such an impact but not nearly enough so to bring him to even think of [20:55] A'denla Kad (unlivedphalanx.mcmahon):  relenting. Deprived of his Axe, he drew his long knife, reserved specifically as a back up, this time significantly closer to her to disallow her from using a jetpack, and maintaining himself ready for another attack and retaliation.   [21:09] Nicci Sularen Ordo growled as she was stopped short of being able to drive her sword into its target.  She caught the forearm fully in her head and was immediately strong armed off his body and fell into the dirt, rolling a bit to get back on her feet.  She laughed as she stood up, obviously enjoying herself moreso than when in any other element.  As the Mand'alor stood there poised with his knife she would immediately bring her sword to bear from its under side, attempting to bring the full force of the heavy blade on the dagger from an upward position, then trying to twist the blade around the smaller weapon to knock it loose from his hand. [21:17] Lord Aeron ventured up into a higher district. And immediately came across a pair of warriors fighting. He nudged at his Master "You see, I told you they were warriors, not politicians!" he said with a laugh, stepping outside the circle "I challenge........ her!" he pointed out at Nessa, almost jokingly. [21:20] A'denla Kad (unlivedphalanx.mcmahon) saw as she brought the large, cursed weapon toward him. he would slide with one foot to the side, raising his arm so as to narrowly evade the sword. The nely proclaimed Ordo Chieftain had grown in skill considerably, and as such the Mandalore would show no mercy. just as she left herself bulnerable with the blade raised, he would try to bring his left hand to grip her wrist which held her sword, using the other hand to try and drive the knife into her vulnerable under arms, repeatedly if he could, he showed no interest in what was happening outside of the circle, quite focused at the battle at hand. [21:20] Jen'ari Ciera would move through the crowed, conspicuously. Her desire to observe the Mandalorian culture had finally peaked after reading the GNN article on their glorious capital. Slipping past her apprentice as he nudged her she moved through the crowd. Taking up near one of the kiosks. Turning and quietly watching what ever was taking place in the ring. Such interest she had taken since her arrival, simply observing.

[21:20] Hoggil Torok folds his hands into either sleeves, his eyes carefully fixed on the heated battle within the circle. He watched not with a bemused eye of an entertained onlooker but of a man walking an art gallery, for the two in the circle were plying their craft with precise skill and focus. Hoggil intended to study as much as he could. A sound from the audience drew his attention - what appeared to him to be no more than another traveler. He smirked at the joke, completely oblivious of the man's true identity. [21:33] Jen'ari Ciera's eyes, which were hidden by the shadow cast by her hood, traced the outline of its silky white rim. Taking in the sights of the people, the architecture. The article  had done it some justice. Her presence in the force was all but blind to those around her. Drawn inward, her focus was kept on that. Keeping the passionate fiery connection she held to the Dark Side hidden. It meant she could also not use the force, potentially exposing herself in the processes. Though that did not mean she was completely absent, as that was near impossible. With her hands neatly folded in her lap, she practiced observing simply with physical senses. Keeping herself from drawing to much attention from any one person. [21:38] Nicci Sularen Ordo grunted as she was violently stabbed under her arm, her warm blood trickling down the knife and onto the dirt on the battle circle floor.  She did not have the chance to be stabbed more than once however, for her sword suddenly went berserk, jerking itself much harder in Hoggil's direction, though not right at Hoggil anymore, but just to his right, trying to pull her right out of the battle circle.  She landed on her back with a loud thud, cursing the evil blade, but determined to show it who its mistress was.  She yanked it back toward her, snarling at it until it stopped jerking.  Moaning in an almost sexual sound from the wound in her body, she licked her lips and sprang at the Mand'aor once more, blood dripping from her body but that seemed to only fuel her fury as she brought the sword down on him, attempting to spin about and stab under his own armpit, trying to drive the blade clean through his shoulderblade where there was a gap in his armor on his good arm. [21:51] A'denla Kad (unlivedphalanx.mcmahon) did not take any time to relish his hit, or to have himself relax. No, he poised himself defensively just as she was jerked away, completely silent. it was his lack of arrogance in the middle of the fight that had won him so many victories, so many lightsabers from fallen forcers and Beskar trophies of other fallen Mandalorians. As she brought her blade down with such force, he realized there was no way he could block it with just using his puny knife. Would he still have his axe, he could match her weapon's might. he would try to sidestep once more, which saw the much younger warrior's blade drive just past him, into the ground. he would take this chance now to try and ram his knife into her right arm, between her gauntlet and and her shoulder, to try and significantly weaken her grasp on the weapon. [21:52] Jen'ari Ciera's hands became unclasped, she stepped forward a few times a bit stunned by what she had just seen. 'Did that blade just lunge at me on it's own?' she asked herself in her mind while watching as the female pushed through the swords desires and reclaimed her control. 'Why had it come after her? Was her presence not masked enough." It seemed she felt this had happen before, for no one seemed to react. Thus she casually moved just a tad, to stand more in the line of Hoggil, so that if it lunged again. It would not appear to be heading directly for her. At least that was her intention. By no means did she desire some sort of conflict with anyone, a mere observing visit was she planning to have. Though with her luck unusual things were bound to happen. [21:57] Hoggil Torok quirked a brow as the blade almost appeared attracted to his general vicinity for a short moment. This enticed him to stroke his beard in further interest, though he knew if he interrupted the bout someone could get seriously injured if he distracted someone with the lethality of the blades in use. "Very queer." he whispers, making a mental note to speak to Nicci later about it. His eyes were drawn to the woman in stark white. To the sith lord's success her efforts to mask her presence worked like a charm and the Jedi before her seemed unaware of her alignment "Hey there. Not often we see too many outsiders like myself." [22:01] Jen'ari Ciera looked from one combatant to the other, never once paying much attention to people around her. Knowing full well that if she appeared to be more then an observer she would be taken as such. Though Hoggil, not to her surprise, turned and spoke to her. Ciera had luckily used the force, before arriving, to mask her demonic reverberated voice. As she spoke, a whimsical chiming tone emitted from her softly. "Hi… It is my first visit to the Capital City. A scholar I am, read a rather revoting article on the GNN, it brought my attention to a culture I was not very familiar with. It of course tugged at my curiosity to the point where I felt a visit was in order." She gestured around, with her hands, looking at all in the general vicinity. "Everything here is so grand." [22:02] Nicci Sularen Ordo cried out as she was stabbed in the arm, once again feeling the warm blood cascade down her arm as if she were taking a shower and letting the water trickle over her skin.  She was dizzy for a few moments, and her hand loosened its grip on the weapon, allowing it to fall in the dirt.  The sword immediately made itself slide across the sand like a snake in the vicinity of Hoggil.  Nicci shook herself out of the euphoria of blood loss and dove for the weapon as fast as she could, not because she gave a kriff about the stinkin Jedi, but because she did not wish to be defenseless against the Mand'alor in the battle circle.  Both arms were now weakened from his precise blows, leaving her unable to lift the blade passed her shoulders any longer.  Instead she decided to do undercuts, pressing lethal force from below.  She did a barrel roll back toward the Mand'alor, then used her jetpack to propell herself back at him the rest of the way at lightning speed, attempting to drive the sword as hard as she could betw [22:02] Nicci Sularen Ordo  his codpiece and upper thighplate.

[22:14] A'denla Kad (unlivedphalanx.mcmahon) would start stepping back as he saw his young protege roll back towards him, not nearly far or quick enough to escape a full-on Jet propulsion, but enough to allow the Elder some wiggle room. he knew for certain that he would not emerge cleanly, but he would try to roll to his side. She had come at him with such speed however, that the he would be indeed hit with the blade, though in the full front of his beskar-plated stomach, which was surely strong enough to withstand the stab, but the sheer impact of her speed threw him off balance, causing his roll to turn out rather reckless, turning hard with the blade impact and falling on his front, panting lightly as he emerged from the ground, feeling as if he had taken a good knock to the stomach. He gripped the knife tightly as he fell however, making sure it was not like losing his Axe once more. once upon rising, he had enough of defensive tactics, rushing for her in a charge, knife poised, waiting until he was close enough so that he could thrust it [22:14] A'denla Kad (unlivedphalanx.mcmahon):  forth, wanting to drive it into the same area she had aimed for with him; between her stomach plate and belt. [22:16] Hoggil Torok takes out his pipe and manages to blow out a ring of smoke, grinning at the fact that he still knew how to do it after all these years. Hoggil motions for Ciera to join him next to the circle before placing the pipe back into his mouth. "Oh yeah you should see their central fortress at the top of the hill/ [22:17] Hoggil Torok: " he said hooking his thumb towards the north. "There's a huge audience chamber with massive stained glass windows - it's beautiful." he tilts his head, his eyes falling to her robes "A scholar hm? Do you come from a specific university?" [22:22] Jen'ari Ciera looked past Hoggil to see the blade move on it's own again. After getting a good glimpse, her eyes went wide under her hood. 'A Sith blade….' A linger thought which would not leave her for a moment. 'I thought that sort of stuff was frowned upon.' She would step up as he gestured, there was no need to resist and cause a stir. Looking back up at where he gestured she shook her head. "I have yet to see it." She looked back and folded her hands neatly in her lap. "Oh my parents are both scientists. I have studied on my own, with them, along side a few other… Masters of their crafts." Smiling somewhat, unable to help it, though it fit the ongoing conversation enough for it not to stand out. Looking down past his pipe she gestured. "A Jedi?" She asked, seeing his lightsaber. "I was to understand your kind was not welcome here." Her tone was curious as she looked back at the two in the ring. [22:23] Nicci Sularen Ordo froze solid as the knife drove into her midsection.  It did not hit any major vital organs, but it was enough to stop her cold.  She had already lost a ton of blood for taking a hit on both arms, and now this was too much.  She collapsed against him, the knife still in her body, before sinking to her knees and crumpling backward into the dirt, her own blood turning the floor red beneath her, her body slipping in and out of consciousness and her breath coming in ragged gasps. [22:29] Hoggil Torok stood up strait, his shoulders tensing up as he saw the blade sink into her chest. By now Hoggil was used to these sorts of fights and had even seen a few of his dear friends killed just for the chance of glory. But he has to accept that both participants go in willingly...though he suspected this was just a spar. "Is she alright?" he asked, taking a half step forward. "This wasn't to the death, was it?" [22:31] A'denla Kad (unlivedphalanx.mcmahon) would fatch her body slide from his knife and on to the floor. The Mandalore now eased his posture, body completely straightened over the Mandalorian woman. He offered his foe a slight nod, calmly bringing his knife toward the fabric of his pants, wiping the blood off on it. Finally, his voice would boom from his helmet, coming across harshly, a voice with a tone that was fitting for the leader of a galaxy's worth of it's most elite warriors, "You fought well." Sheathing his blade into his thigh plate. The various Mandalorians about the market place had observed, but by now they were likely used to seeing the Mandalore fight there. he turned his cold-staring visor toward Hoggil, responding to him in the same cold manner, "This is a warm-up. She'll live." he brought himself toward Nicci and would attempt to lift her himself to take her to the medical center, for the mandalore, despite his status, was certainly not above personally aiding his own people. [22:31] Jen'ari Ciera could see there was a chance the battle was coming close to an end. Or at least it was what her perceptions were telling her. Even as she observed so little, so much about the Mando people were becoming clear to her. They were Warriors, ones of a cast that should not be underestimated. This was most concerning to her, how could she have let something so potent go untouched from her studies this long. She bit her lip and sighed softly, if the blade was able to sense her, she needed to part ways before the battle wrapped up. She had to much to do, being arrested, or starting a fight with adrenaline filled Warriors. As Hoggil seemed focused on the battle, she took a few steps back. Blending into the crowd of people observing. Turning and walking briskly back to her unmarked shuttle. A smile upon her face, for she would return one day to observe further. [22:31] A'denla Kad (unlivedphalanx.mcmahon): ((*Watch [22:34] Nicci Sularen Ordo shook a little as she was lifted, from her injuries, but a smile was on her face the entire time.  She weakly pressed her sword to A'denla's chest, "D-don't let that get near the Jedi if you suffer him to live," she gasped out, and then did not really speak much more, as it hurt too much, but allowed herself to be carried wherever he would carry her. [22:41] Hoggil Torok folds his hands back into his sleeves and nods to A'denla. After all they were quite close to a medical bay. "Of course." he nods, making sure he didn't get too involved in mandalorian affairs. "But there is something else. A word of caution, A'denla....that sword is non other than an ancient sith sword. It's power by the dark side of the force. Death clings to it's blade like a disease. I would advise keeping a close eye on it." [22:43] A'denla Kad (unlivedphalanx.mcmahon) nods toward Hoggil. He was aware of Nicci's.. interestingblade. "I trust nothing that wields the force. You have earned my respect and trust, but you are one out of perhaps three in this entire galaxy, caution is something you need not worry about."
