New Recruit
[22:57] Forever Night walks into the room and yawns a bit. She had the plan in her mind and just didn't know who to speak to about finding a clan and learning. She was on her way towards the bar and stopped as she looked over the armored one. "Well don't you look spiffy."
[23:02] Nicci Sularen Ordo had been "hanging out" as they call it at the local cantina, though she wasn't really blending in with the crowd very well. She rarely ever just hung out somewhere for no reason, usually it was for the purpose of picking a fight or...recruiting or...something or other. Getting drunk sounded good too but she only did that with people who interested her, and none seemed to fit the bill tonight. She had been just about to leave, being bored out of her mind, when she was approached by an unarmored woman she had never seen before. She stopped walking, her heavy boots ceasing to thud noisily on the floor in her movement. She half turned, staring the woman down with a kind of darkness quite uncommon for the average mandalorian. She raised a crimson brow beneath the helmet, mostly at the word "spiffy" but also to the fact she was addressed so informally by someone she didn't know. She eyed the black covering that seemed to cover the woman's nose with a mild curiosity. "What is that osik on your face? Do I [23:02] Nicci Sularen Ordo smell or something?"
[23:06] Inari Nyte could only chickle for a moment before deciding to respond. "It's not for you but to have a mask of sorts available at all times. It will keep out impurities in the air for a short time so that I can get to where I need to go. More people should carry them." She paused for a moment and smirks. "You know those of us without armor and such. As for if you smell .... I wouldn't know I'm not close enough nor do I wish to be."
[23:10] Nicci Sularen Ordo grunted a bit. Her voice sounded quite harsh through her helmet, "I do not wear a helmet to keep out...air...impurities..." she replied, the notion never even crossing her mind. "If the air doesn't kill me I couldn't care less." she concluded, ignoring the latter comment, since it had been a poor attempt at a sense of humor on her own part in the first place. "So was there something you needed? Or did you just stop me to tell me I look ...spiffy?"
[23:14] Inari Nyte watched her movements for a long moment then would speak. "I am looking for someone. I'm not sure yet as to whom however. I wish to learn about the culture and well where better to look for opportunities than Keldabe." She shrugged. "Stopping you was just a side pleasure. When I say spiffy it's usually not an insult."
[23:17] Nicci Sularen Ordo snorted, a motion that blew exhaust from the front of her helmet and might remind one of a bull just before the charge, and sounded similar too. "Depends on who you are speaking to," she replied, referring to the spiffy comment. She did not take it as an insult, she did not take it as anything. Outsiders had strange ways she didn't bother trying to understand. "Are you looking to become a warrior? Because if you merely wish to "learn about the culture" ...you can do that in a book." she grunted roughly in reply.
[23:20] Inari Nyte could only let out a sigh at this point. "I am looking to make a change in my life. I'm looking to be a warrior. I'm looking to expand my knowledge on medical training. I want to learn andything and everything I can get my hands on." She looks over her shoulder at a couple of chatterboxes. "I want to learn it all and not from a book by a cozy fire." [23:26] Nicci Sularen Ordo eyed her for what seemed like an eternity, but was really only a moment, "Just clarifying. You'd be surprised at how many scientists we get coming here seeking to study us as if we were some sort of lab experiment. Writers wishing to make documentaries, etc. Desire to become a warrior, to serve something greater than yourself, is an entirely different matter however. There are many mandalorian clans, each one unique in their own way. They are a family, a family that holds a kind of...collective personality. Where one may excel in one clan, they may do poorly in another, because of the difference in their ways. Question is, what kind of warrior are you?" she asked. "Not to mention...who the hell are you? It helps to know a name."
[23:29] Inari Nyte actually laughed at the last part. Names do help huh? She thought for a moment and then responded. "I'm Inari Nyte. As for what type of warrior I am. Frankly not even half of what you are I am sure of. Which is why I'm eager to change it." She started to pace a bit. "I have learned to cut with precision and steady hands both medically and not. I however am not the best at anything."
[23:36] Nicci Sularen Ordo waved a hand dismissively, "That is not what I meant. I am not asking how skilled you are. Frankly I couldn't care less about your skill. Skill can be changed. What I am inquiring is about your personality itself. What kind of person are you? Are you timid? Do you prefer negotiation to fighting? Do you commit yourself to everything you do? Are you hot tempered? Are you a woman capable of striking fear into others with merely a dissatisfied glance? When you walk into a cantina, do you go in there to gamble, socialize, or start fights? What kind of person are you?" she asked roughly, "I am Nicci Ordo, Alor of the Ordo Clan. Our clan represents a fierceness the other clans do not have. This is not to say we are better than the others, but the fighting spirit is deeper within us than what you might consider normal. We shoot first and ask questions later, nine times out of ten. We have been referred to as the Mand'alor's attack dogs. Sometimes we show up somewhere just to start a fight we can [23:36] Nicci Sularen Ordo participate in. We are not always liked by most, but feared by all. So I ask again, Miss Nyte, what kind of warrior are you?"
[23:42] Inari Nyte decided to do a run down on her list starting with the first question all the way to the last. "Timid ... no. Do I prefer talking to fighting .... no. Commitment ..... with all I am and then some." She paused for a moment thinking about this one. "Hot tempered. That is a tricky one. It would depend on what is going on. If it's going against what is right and the law then yes I am. Am I capable of radiating fear? No but I'm willing to learn." She stopped pacing now and turned her completely white eyes to the woman. I do not normally walk into a cantina but it's to get a drink and get the kriff out. I dislike socializing. I am a person that would do just about anything to get what she wants Nicci Ordo." She then folded her arms over her chest and awaited what the woman would speak next.
[23:46] Nicci Sularen Ordo nodded, taking a liking to her slightly. She did not often like anyone who proclaimed they did not have much skill in the ways of fighting, but something about her sparked a mild interest. "I see. Have you researched the clans. Did you have your eye on a particular one you wished to approach...or did you leave your fate in the hands of Kad Harangir himself to guide you where he will?"
[23:50] Inari Nyte smirked a bit. I have heard of Ordo but alas it was not yours I now see. It was of some fool that didn't seem like he know what the hell he wa doing. I mean he stood in a corner and did nothing for a good 30 mins before walking out. No one feared him and I'm pretty much thinking everyone payed him no mind at all." She then thought about some other things. "I have heard of a few other clans but I figured that where I was meant to be would pretty much slap me in the face. Literally or figuratively." [23:57] Nicci Sularen Ordo smirked a bit. "Well then consider yourself slapped. If you are as willing to learn as you say, I wish you to join Ordo. We recently....shall we say...let go...our previous medic, and are in need of another, as many of us tend to need frequent patching up if we survive our encounters. The tasks will not be easy, I am told they are the hardest to accomplish of all the clans. I am not a merciful Alor either, so you will not expect kindness from me, only my respect, and that is if you earn it." She paused, as if it suddenly registered what the woman had said, "Ordo that is not mine?" she asked. She had not encountered Jacx since she had thrown him out of Ordo, and therefore did not know of the other clan. [00:00] Inari Nyte nods to her and smiles. "Then I gladly accept and can't wait to fix up and fight things." She then heard what the woman said and frowned a bit. "Yes there is a male going around and I have heard to him referred to as the Alor of Ordo. Up until this moment I had thought it was him but he seemed so .... passive. A little grumpy and quiet." [00:05] Nicci Sularen Ordo's fists clenched, and in a single stride, she closed the distance between herself and the young woman, "Where did you see this male? Who is he? I want a name?" she snarled viciously, her voice ablaze with a rage like no other.
[00:07] Florentina Ambrose strolls into the bar without her armor for a change, a rare sight. only wearing her boots the older Mandalorian woman strode up to the counter and ordered a plate of food. turning to watch the other two who who were chatting, Nicci seemed really angry. she walks back over to a table with a bowl of stew eavesdropping like an old hen.
[00:08] Inari Nyte shook her head and didn't flinch. "I never heard his name but I saw him on Nar Shaddaa in the cantina or club thing. It was in the building all the way in the back when standing at the space port. It houses the bank on the bottom floor." She had nothing left to give the woman. "I might be able to point him out if I see him again. His armor wasn't that special."
[00:14] Nicci Sularen Ordo just looked at her, aghast. Passive? Quiet? He shamed the very spirit of Ordo. Nicci eyed the familiar woman, a bit taken aback, since she had never seen her without her armor. Nicci herself NEVER went without it, she would feel naked. She spent several moments with her fists clenched, chest heavily heaving as she struggled to contain her rage. Once the desire had passed to punch anything in the room that moved, she spoke, though her composure still sounded forced. "I see. I shall have to meet up with this...individual, and beat what it means to be an Ordo into him. His blood will kiss the floors of Nar Shadaa, or wherever I so happen to run into him," she said slowly. "As for your entry, you have brought me a valuable bit of information, but information I am sure is common knowledge in some circuits I do not associate myself with. You will be brought into the clan, as an Evar'taal. You are not to wear the armor until you have passed your verd goten. Once you have passed, you may chose to kee [00:14] Nicci Sularen Ordo your first name if you wish, but your last name will be replaced by that of your new family, your clan name. Your training will be brutal, but educational. It will be as long as i see fit, and complaining will be met with violence. Do you understand?" she asked roughly.
[00:18] Inari Nyte smiled hearing some of the words. Not the beginning ones as well she kinda did feel sorry for the wrath that woman would bring to him. All in all she nodded and then said firmly. "I would expect nothing less and I will thank you for each beating I get. I'm not stupid and I know it makes you stronger. Also, if I piss you off I'm sure I deserve it. I cannot wait to begin."
[00:20] Niv Dralshy'a cheerily ate watching Nicci lay down the law. She'd take a sip of her wine. And almost clapped or shouted an Oya. The pale, snow haired Mando woman just watched instead with interest. leaning her backside against an adjacent table.
[00:28] Nicci Sularen Ordo snorted again, the exhaust fuming from the vents in the lower part of her helmet. "I do not know about deserving it, I punch things when I feel like punching them nine times out of ten, whether that be a wall or your head depends on which is closer," she smirked. "Most of your tasks will be physical. However, despite our reputation, we are not one-hundred percent brute. Some of it will be mental. Your first task is to state the resol'nare, and what each tenet means to you personally. Come back to me when you are ready to begin, though, not tonight. I admit my rage would prevent me from listening to you with my undivided attention," she snarled quietly. She shifted her gaze abruptly to Niv, and roared out, "THE KRIFF YOU STARING AT?!" in her typical hostile yet friendly greeting. Friendly for her.
[00:31] Niv Dralshy'a grinned as Nicci turned on her and shouted the greeting. she straightens her back snorting back a laugh she crosses one leg over the other "Su'cuy vod! bout time you showed back up and paid attention to yer surroundings" she'd speak in her rough keldabe brogue
[00:33] Inari Nyte nods her head and smiles feeling a bit happier to have started along the road. "I will learn and learn it well. I shall also make sure the wall is always closer to you than I am. It's harder than it looks to make sure one still has brain cells after being punched enough." She smiled only trying to have a laugh at herself at this point. She would let the two speak after all she had things to learn. "I will get going on that task then. I'll let you meet the wall tomorrow before my face. Good eve to you both." She would turn on heels and saunter right on out if nothing else was said to her.
[00:35] Nicci Sularen Ordo snorted again, nodding once to her new Evaar'tal, before she shifted her gaze back to Niv. "I always pay attention to my surroundings, I have just not been here, therefore paid attention to DIFFERENT surroundings. You look...weird...without armor," she commented roughly, obviously not one to extend any kind of social courtesy by holding back a blunt truth.
