Mandalorian Clan Rally
[18:09] And so the Clans were rallied, and the finest amongst them heeded the call. Gathering in the Journeyman Protectors' outpost on Onderon, an aruetii world in existence by Clan Ordo's moon of Dxun, the Clan representatives and tag-along Mandalorians found their seats. The Mandalorian clad in blue, battered combat armor raised to his feet, and removed his helmet -- something he rarely did. He lay it atop the table, and allowed his maroon eyes to look over those gathered, "Su cuy'gar, ner vode. I am Soron Skirata of Clan Skirata, Protector of Mandalore." he introduced himself, "Feel free to drink up the spirits -- we have gathered an assortment of tihaar, narcolethe and ne'tra gal." he listed off Mandalorian favorites, "But we have pressing matters to discuss. Before we begin, let's have everyone introduce themselves." he said, turning his head to his right, towards Cin.
[18:11] Ekuwa Skirata stood in complete silence and just watched and listened as she often did. It was her first time at something like this and had been a bit taken back by all of the banners and relics. Ekuwa had taken the time to examine most but of course never tried touching any of them. She felt a bit of pride at the Skirata helmet.
She wondered what the stories were of each of those present at the table, their armor revealing only bits of their deeds over the year. Ekuwa's armor was worn but only because of its lower quality. Her gloved hands lifted her helmet revealing a poof of brown hair. She tucked the helmet under her left arm and stood behind her father
[18:11] Arden Skirata (Mandokar Resident) followed his new family in, snagging a bottle more or less at random at his new brother's invitation and settling in to stand by and learn what he could about the rest of the mandalorians.
[18:14] Cayce Urriah clicks her teeth as she looks over towards Soron, raising a brow, "You know, man, you clean up pretty well. Call me after this, we'll slam." She looks to the volley of drinks on the table and gently pushes them away from her, "In recovery, but vor'e, ner vod." She looks across the group of gathered warriors, "Cin Kata. Daughter of Cayce, ya'll know my kin. I'm standing in as Alor of Kata while my mother is off chasing fukken' jungle mice or some shit finding herself. I'm a clone of the woman, and I don't get her. Anyhow.. I'm also the Commander of the Death Watch, and Captain of the Teroch Wing of our fighter pilots. I'm here because this di'kut to my left rolled up on me and gave me a lecture, but I don't normally put much stock in talking. Lets blow some shit up and have some fun, vode."
[18:16] Zak'arn Gra'tua: wasn't far away already in the building just a floor below. Zak'arn stepped out of the elevator making his way over towards the table and taking a seat looking over those who were already there and giving them each a nod of his head. As the introductions begun he would wait for his turn before his comms coming to life through a burst of static. "Zak'arn, Alor of Aliit Gra'tua" he said simply
[18:16] Zoe Gra'tua followed Zak onto the top floor were the Protectors resided. Arms over her chest as se moved to stand to Zak's right. She said nothing and just waited.
[18:17] Shev'la Skirata made his way through the series of guards until he was in the Cabure office. He nodded to the guards and made his way over to his seat on the table and nodded to the other Alore, as well as his brother. "I am Shev'la Skirata, current standing Alor be Aliit Skirata.... some of you know me by now, some not so much. I've assumed Alor'ship after most of my Aliit had already shamed itself. I'm seeking to reclaim our honor." He looks at the Tihaar and waves it off "Another time perhaps."
[18:18] Nicci Ordo sat heavily in her seat, ignoring the brightly colored bottles. She didn't trust anything that was pink. Her visor fell on the one claiming to be Death Watch, and just kept it there. "Nicci Ordo. Alor'ad of Ordo." she said rather shortly.
[18:19] Roxy Ne'haryc entered the room, her shoulders heaving with a deep breath, silenced by her helmet. She looked around, but made no move to remove her helmet as she moved to a seat. "Roxy Ne'haryc. Alor of Ne'haryc. One of the last of the tireless clan." She settled into the chair, though it could be clear by the angling of her head that she was eying the Ne'tra Gal.
[18:24] Beskaryc Kyr'am looked around the table as he took his seat, armor thudding against it as he leaned back, eyes falling around the room. "So this time has come again I see." he growled, voice mechanical through his buy'ce's speaker. "I trust I'm not too late to this meeting.
[18:28] Soron 's attention darted from person to person, completely disregarding the alcohol himself. His eyes, however, lingered the longest on Cin, both during her speech and in passing glances. The Mandalorian's attention shifted onto Besk, "Nayc, vod, just in time. Beskaryc Kyr'am, Alor of Clan Kyr'am." he opted for a faster introduction period. He eventually cleared his throat once everyone did get the chance to introduce themselves, "Jate. I'd like you all to consider yourselves the best and brightest of the Clans -- the future of our culture." he said, "Naturally, we want a future of honor. Now more than ever, without a Mand'alor to lead us, we need to strive for unity. We need to point our blasters in the same direction, and we need to have a united objective." he said, "We need to create allies and make adversaries. That is why you are here today. To make your Clan's voice heard with a proposed future for our ranks."
[18:30] Cin Kata threads her fingers together, watching Soron intensely, a small smile playing on her normally icy expression. "Who are we invading? Personally, I'd suggest the Verpine."
[18:33] Zak'arn Gra'tua: would take note of each of the alore that spoke and which clan they each belonged to. Before finally turning towards Cin Kata as she spoke. "Hopefully no one, We are quickly running out of bridges for Deathwatch to burn. Maybe we should work on building some for a change ?" he asked looking across the table.
[18:34] Zoe Gra'tua smirked beneath her helm and just continued to remain silent for now.
[18:38] Shev'la Skirata had little to nothing to say on the matter, his mind was focused on something else at the moment. He just observed the meeting.
[18:39] Nicci Ordo folded her arms across her chest, her eyes briefly darting to Soron and for a moment, felt like a fool. She listened to the others speak, her eyes falling on the one clad in armor who had not bothered to introduce themselves before looking back at the rest. "I wouldn't mind mowing down the Kyr'tsad to purge this galaxy of a plague." she said flatly, looking right at Cin.
[18:40] Roxy Ne'haryc grunted along with Soron, a snort escaping her in reaction to Zak'arn's words. "Migh' be a 'alfway decen' idea. Make some allies or a' leas' some contac's. Try an' uh... build our numbers before we go pickin' figh's." She paused, shifting in her chair and causing a quiet scraping sound as her armour plates touched. "An' when did we star' workin' with Kyr'tsad?"
[18:43] Eris Latium Skirata slips her Buy'ce to the right, breaking the seal between her neck guard and helmet. As she lofts the baskar from her head, long black strands flow down her shoulders, whilst light blue gaze peers intently about at the others in the room. She was honored that Buir invited her to accompany him. The young woman holds her helmet in one hand while silently watching the proceedings.
[18:51] Soron 's eyes jumped from Mandalorian to Mandalorian, "Two proposals, then: invade Verpine territories in the Roche sector, or destroy Death Watch." he said, his gaze shifting onto Cin. His eyes did narrow momentarily, but after a moment of thought he quirked the side of his mouth and spoke to the table, "As much as it pains me to see a mantle of dishonor dwell amongst our people, Clan Kata has been loyal to Mandalore for decades." he offered a defense, glancing back towards Cin, "But let me warn you, vod: prove to be the dishonorable raider that your Kyr'tsad forefathers were, and the Journeyman Protectors will eliminate you." he offered, furrowing his brows as it almost pained him to threaten. "I have a proposal of my own, but first. On the basis that Death Watch will only be tolerated until it betrays the Mandalorians, I vote that we don't take to heart Kata's claim to the bloodthirsty mantle -- if she and hers once again fall into dishonor, Mandalorians deal with them for good. Everyone in favor?"
[18:57] Arden Skirata (Mandokar Resident) screwed up his face in confusion. Why would someone take up the name 'Death Watch' if they didn't intend to act in the way that, historically speaking, Death Watch had always acted? By his reckoning, this was the equivalent of a court proceedural holo where the suspect pulls out a gun and points it at the prosecution, and the judge says 'I'll allow it. Let's see where this is going'.
[18:58] Cin Kata raises a brow at the round of threats and folds one leg over the other, "That, you fucking joyless chakaare, was a joke. Additionally, I'm here because our former-former Mand'alor made peace between our factions. I'm as much of a Mandalorian as all of you, and the Death Watch were given pardons. That said.." She drags a hand through her hair and glances to the bottles nearest to her, giving them another push away, before looking back out. "The Death Watch are a civilian militia that is willing to enact deeds most aren't. We exist to bring terror to the hearts of any who would infringe on our people. We aren't here to conquer anymore-- as I said in my manifesto. But raiding itself isn't.. implicitly bad. In times of hunger, Kata itself has raided worlds for medicine and food stocks, but with warning before arrival. It is my clan's firm belief that any honorable combat, is honorable combat." She stretches out, "One last note. If you feel that I or mine have slighted you, yours, or just deserve killing, you're welcome to come to me with blades or blasters outside of this room-- lets not destroy Soron's nice office, lek?"*
[18:58] Zoe Gra'tua thought about the fight over Taris where Gra'tua would have been destroyed if not for Death Watch. It pained Zoe to think that way but fact was just that. Fact. Taking a moment to speak to her Alor in comms before he would speak.
[19:00] Ekuwa Skirata Didn't quite know the full history about the deathwatch but could feel the tension in the air. What historic crimes had they committed? The young girl turned her head to Cin Kata who gave her retort. It sounded like an excuse for terrorism in her opinion. She'd keep that opinion to herself however as it was not her place to talk or to judge
[19:03] Zak'arn Gra'tua: thought for a long moment hearing someone over comms speak before nodding his head. Looking back over the group he would finally speak up. "Everyone here knows the legacy of Deathwatch. We have all seen them act previously against the mandalorian people. However that being said." he said giving a sigh. "This rendition of Deathwatch has not acted against the mandalorian people as far as I am aware. Outside of that simple fact, I would like to extend something that Jekai would often state. Something I believe we should all keep in mind. We are a dying people. Our clans have never been weaker. Unity is the purpose of this meeting and if we are to be united then we cannot begin with a crusade against our own people." he said "I suggest we focus on the Verpine territories" he said
[19:07] Beskaryc Kyr'am shifted in his seat, remaining silent on the death watch topic for now. "I am old and set in my ways, my Aliit still follows the ways of Verd'goten, I trust you all still do the same." his tone was cold and he was going to remain blunt about it. "Not many of you know who I am, I doubt anyone sitting at this table even remembers my former Aliit Dralshy'a." he paused a hand coming up to rest under the beak of the bird upon his shoulder. "Dralshy'a believed in the Resol'nare the six tenants sacred to being Mando'ade..." he paused for another beat leaning forward to rest his hands upon the table. "And I like Niv Dralshy'a plan to uphold the tradition of verd'goten for all evaar'la to gain their armor and rite to stand with us. As for any assaults I suggest we ensure the Empire stays out of our territories."
[19:10] Shev'la Skirata looks over to Cin and looks between the Alore of the council, then to Soron before finally speaking "I see you for what you are, for that I can tolerate you, Cin be Aliit Kata... as I respect gar Buir and that of Aliit Kata... which leaves me one question, if you're not going to act like complete douchebags to the Mando'ade or to the Aruetiise with Death Watch styled tactics.... why the fuck are you wearing that very mantle? You could've easily gone with another name without any drama from the Clans.... your recruitment probably would've skyrocketed in comparison as well." He crosses his arms.... Shev despised Death Watch... well, the -real- Death Watch anyway. From his perspective these were the equivalent of a bunch of dumb teenagers trying to be cool. He looks back to Beskaryc "Actually... I've met an Alor'ad of Aliit Dral'shya, even fought in the same battle with one during one of the last battles of Taris." He chose to move on "What's important in the Verpine sector?" He asked.
[19:12] Nicci Ordo responded coldly, without any real tone. "Ordo is not in favor. If what you claim is true, they are not Kyr'tsad. There is no reason for you to call yourself Kyr'tsad if you are not. It's a false title. Renounce Kyr'tsad and return to the true Mandalorians or get the hell out. Or better yet, fall on one of my blades so I may end your miserable existence. I'll even clean up the mess." as she understood this woman had been invited here, so she would not just throw a beskad in her skull. But maybe next time..."If you mean what you say, you will simply be Mando'ade again. Not Kyr'tsad. The very name of Kyr'tsad is to set one apart from the rest of the Mandalorians in honor and action. It is an empty name with empty meaning, hanging on to the name of terrorists serves what purpose? None that I can see, unless you are a snake in the grass, as all Kyr'tsad are." she replied. She looked at the one who spoke out claiming to be of Dralshy'a. "I do not know who you are vod, but would if you had perhaps introduced yourself as the rest of the Aliits have done."
[19:13] Roxy Ne'haryc scoffed quietly. "We're abiding Kyr'tsad." She shook her head, having quickly dropped the accent. "That mantle? That means something. It's not just some title, yea? If it were, there'd be no reason not to drop it." She gestured towards Shev as he said essentially the same thing. "Especially considering what that mantle means to our people. That mantle signifies beliefs, beliefs that're contrary to our own. It signifies a history of betrayal and dishonour. Seems counter productive to let someone like that have a seat at the table." Her head tilted to the side as the woman spoke, shaking her head. "Why not call yourselves something else if you aren't the kyr'tsad of years past, 'lek? Why associate yourself with that title, eh? I'm all for the unity of our people but the Death Watch have always existed to exclusively oppose us and enforce their own dishonourable beliefs, ain't they? It doesn't make sense to wear the title if you don't fit the role, 'lek? Why not call yourself Kata, Mando'ade as opposed to Kyr'tsad?" She reached forward, taking one of the bottles on the table and uncapping it. One hand went up, lifting her helmet just enough to free the lower half of her face, sniffing at the contents before taking a long drink. "Good to know there are others who feel the same." She nodded to Nicci.
[19:18] R. Ward (Bentley Blackmountain) steps out of the lift. He gives a slight nod to both of the protectors standing guard near the entrance before making his way some distance from the conference table. Not wanting to intrude, he stands with his hands by his side and remains quiet as he listens to the meeting.
[19:25] Soron 's facial features changed drastically as his focus shifted from speaker to speaker. He shut his eyes to consider his own thoughts before shaking his head, "Many good points against the mantle of Death Watch have been made, and if I were religious, Cin, I'd pray to Kad Ha'rangir that you listen to these words of wisdom." he said, "But I want to clarify to you, vode, that Cin Kata sits here not as Kyr'tsad, but as representative of Clan Kata, a family that has been loyal to Mandalore. Like Cin said -- if you have a fault with her, kill her after this meeting." he said it a little more roughly, "The.. Verpire invasion was meant sarcastically. There is nothing of use for us in the Roche sector anymore, our forefathers ransacked the space." he said, "As it stands, the Republic is overseeing a civil war over Hapes space. I recommend that we join their forces -- those of the Clans who fight will be paid as mercenaries, and as a united front, as Mandalorians, we participate in war. We can organize the Clans into a military machine again."
[19:26] Mesh'la Morut: frowned deeply at the mention of Kyr'tsad - it was not something she wished to reflect overly much on at the moment. She took a few seconds to look around the room. She knew very few of those she saw around the table, save two or three. "I would have to agree with the Kyr'am Alor on the subject of Verd'goten, as well as with what a great many of you have stated regarding Kyr'tsad." She glanced around the room, noting the lack of certain banners along the wall. "Also.... if you want to be inclusive of all clans... how about making a bit more of an effort to reach out? I see that not all clans are represented here by their banners... I certainly am not dead, nor is my clan - contrary to what some of you might think."
[19:30] Cin Kata rises up out of her seat abruptly, "..I've got to be off. I'd argue about the Death Watch osik, but apparently my estate on Zeltros is under attack by aruetiise. I'll be in touch, and my people will be present when we're needed. Additionally, if you do want to try and kill me as previously said, Soron here knows where I reside." With that, she slips out, calling over her shoulder, "Soron! Let me know what's decided, also come by later and we'll smash." She steps into the elevator, and then out!
[19:34] Zak'arn Gra'tua: comms came to life once again. "If we are to invest in joining a war alongside the republic then we should do so with the interest in forming alliances as well as gaining territory outright." he said giving a pause looking over towards Kara Alor. "Is that really the most important thing that we should be discussing at this moment ? Don't you think that maybe we should focus on the continue survival of our culture ?" he said giving a sigh looking back to the alore. "Now if we can get back to the business at hand." he said. "I have no issue with assisting the republic in a war effort. But as I stated previously we should do so with the purpose of gaining allies and territory." he said.
[19:37] Beskaryc Kyr'am shifted his gaze to Nicii, his one good eye narrowing under his visor. "I am Beskaryc Kyr'am ad be Niv Dralshy'a, former Alor'ad Aliit Dralshy'a." He paused a bit leaning back in his seat giving a wave of his hand. "I would have figured my beskar'gam would have spoke volumes about that, but it appears I was mistaken." he sighed, the waving hand coming to rest upon the jawbone affixed to his helm. "I trust the Dralshy'a mines are still producing the beskar that you all use for you 'gam. Unless one of you has laid claim to those mines in your own name." he paused a beat, a hand returning to caress the beak of his bird, his attention shifting to Zak'arn. "Because the clans who represent us represent our culture ner vod, without them present we lose a part of who we are."
[19:40] Shev'la Skirata looks over to Soron before speaking "Aliit Skirata's already engaged the Sith aligned Hapans alongside the Republic and the Senate-aligned Hapans in a previous operation.. the conflict is still currently ongoing as it stands, and I think that war is far from over.... though the Sith aligned Hapans's morale seem easier to break considering my previous experience against them." He places his hands back on the arms of his chair "If any Aliit wishes to accompany us on this conflict, they're more than welcome... I certainly won't kriffin' mind, but for payment you'll want to sort that out with the Republic." He crosses his arms "The territory bit might be a bit more complicated.... though I'm not gonna complain of the Mando'ade gains some during the war."
[19:42] Nicci Ordo shrugged, "I care little for the enemy of the aruteii. But if my people require aid against a foe, you can call on Ordo to crush it. Long as it isn't working for the Hutts though. Not working for no Hutt." she replied, with a distaste. "Republic seems alright I guess."
[19:43] Roxy Ne'haryc sat the bottle back on the table, letting her helmet fall back into place and resetting the seal. She gave only a grunt in response to the kyr'tsad talk, leaning back in the chair. "Ne'haryc can aid in the fight, 'lek."
[19:53] Soron 's eyes had hovered over Nicci mainly, in anticipation for her verbalized mindset. Exhaling a relatively deep breath past his nose in relief, he offered a faint smile to the table before nodding his head a couple of times, "Ibic jate. Ibic ori'jate. <This is good. This is very good.>" he said, "As Shev said, Clan Skirata has had prior business with the Republic. I can consult with Shev and Republic representatives to begin working on a contract. Besides our military services alongside the Republic in this war over Hapes, the contract will establish our benefits in both territory and resources -- credits, vehicles, goods, and other trade." he said, "War is our birthright, but we need this adversary, and the ally attached to it. Let's put it to a vote -- all those in favor of initiating this contract between the Mandalorians and the Republic, say aye. Aye." he raised a gloved hand.
[19:54] Mesh'la Morut: just shook her head at the comment from the one on her left, and sat back, crossing her arms for the moment. "As to assisting the Republic.. my clan is committed to things already. We could however send medical aid or supplies if needed." She would nod to him, and raise her hand. "I vote Aye."
[19:54] Zecora Gra'tua (Ayeshe Resident) leaned against the chair and coughed idly.
[19:55] Zak'arn Gra'tua: would nod his head looking back towards Beskaryc. "While I respect that opinion and support the pride of mandalorian culture. I also think that we should focus, on the present. Unless we all plan on being nothing less than a gathering of regrets and ghosts once our people have died out." he sated looking back towards Shev'la nodding his head in agreement. "I would like to suggest that should any clan engage in combat against the sith, or alongside the republic during this conflict we make an effort to alert the rest of the clans so that we may continue representing the mandalorians as a unified front moving towards a common goal. I think this would be the best strategy." he said before turning towards Nicci. "Ordo, I would like for you to think of this more so as working for the betterment of our people." Hearing Soron call for a vote he would lift his hand. "Aye" he stated. Zak'arn paused after a moment letting the vote be counted before clearing his throat. "I apologize however I have to go, Zoe my Alor'ad will be representing Gra'tua for the rest of the meeting." he said rising to his feet. "Thank you all for your attention" he said before turning and heading back down the elevator.
[20:01] Beskaryc Kyr'am shifted his gaze around the room, listening to the input of his fellow vode. "So long as we dont work for the slugs I as well as my Aliit will support any conflict we may find ourselves in. As for my vote it is an Aye." his tone remained cold, looking to Soron a moment, giving a subtle nod.
[20:04] Shev'la Skirata nods to Soron "You already know my vote... Skirata is already engaged in the conflict, aye." He nods to Alor Gra'tua "Ret'urcye mhi, Alor Gra'tua. Give your Aliit my regards." His tone, remained stoic throughout the meeting though he looks around himself glancing at some of his new vode and takes a glance towards his ad, noting her presence. There is a sense of pride in her presence here, but he had important business to attend to. Diverting back to the conversation at hand "If there's -one- Sith in the Hapan, I would count on this Sith Empire on sending more to support her or her creating some Army of Sith to try to turn the tide... something we should consider on future strategies."
[20:06] Nicci Ordo grunted at Grat'ua, "Isn't that what I said?!" she replied to the comment about working for the betterment of their people. She was done speaking on the issue of Kyr'tsad. Kyr'tsad or not they deserved to be present for such comments and not have them said behind their back. "Aye," she replied in the affirmative to assisting the Republic. She had made an oath to the Reclaimer regarding his wife afterall.
[20:08] Roxy Ne'haryc considered Soron's words before nodding her head. "Aye. We'll fight to support our people. We looking primarily at battles in orbit? Ground battles? Some details to relay back to our respective clans'll be good."
[20:17] Soron listened to all the votes and opinions. He offered Zak'arn a curt nod on his way out, and a smile of camaraderie -- a feature he missed sharing. "Kandosii'la. Then it's unanimous -- seven of the seven Clans sitting at the council have voted to establish a contract with the Republic. I will open contact with the Republic Chancellor and keep the Alore updated." he said, before his gaze wandered onto Roxy in particular, "From what Shev and I saw, the combat is in its late naval stages right now, with ground engagements soon begin. Plenty of honorable warfare to be a part of." he said, "I recommend you hunt with your families to prepare for combat. The Mandalorians will stand on the battlefield as one, behind a single banner. I'll keep the Clan leaders updated on job specifics."
[20:19] Mesh'la Morut: fiddled with the small wrist computer for a moment, typing out a message before sending it to Nicci and then Besk. She then turned her attention to Soron. "Please let me know what you might need in the way of medical supplies or personnel."
[20:20] Zoe Gra'tua said her words to Zak wen e departed and took his seat. Hmm he did keep it warm. Listening as Shev'la spoke and then Nicci. Hearing of the woman and her accomplishments made her all the more of a wonder to be in a room with. However back to business. "Gra'tua will be ready to help in any way that we can." Zoe wondered if saying hi to a Senator she got to meet might help with anything.
[20:26] Beskaryc Kyr'am let out a long sigh as he heard about combat in orbit. "Should the need arise, I can pull my fleet from the outer rim territories to assist." he gave a short pause to respond to a message he received on a small data slate before tucking it back into his belt. "I still command a various array of ships. One of which may be useful for staging."
[20:27] Shev'la Skirata looks to Roxy "We're currently in siege of their ship yard. We've forced it's defense fleet into surrender and are prepping for the final push into the station with boarding parties." Shev said. "I'm sure there'll be plenty of future ground and orbital ops lined up for us as well."
[20:30] Nicci Ordo nodded once. "Elek. Ordo is best unleashed in close quarters where we can break the backs of our enemies upon or gam like waves on the shore," she snarled with a reverence for an artform. "But we gladly will join battle in any scenario. Point us towards our enemy and we will rend their bones."
[20:30] Roxy Ne'haryc jerked her head upwards in a nod before looking towards Shev'a. "Got it. I'd like to speak with one of you..." Her visored gaze moved from him to Soron. "...Later. I have some technical questions. Better to go in prepared, 'lek?"
[20:42] "Elek. Good to be prepared." Soron agreed, "Vor entye, vode, for your resilient dedication to the Mandalorian people. Your warrior contributions will all go towards building our honorable future." he said, "I will relay job specifics when rallying the Clans for a job. In regards to the operation we're likely to conduct first -- consult Shev for intelligence, we have Skirata forces already in the area." he said, "The best each of you can do, alore, is exactly what you are already offering -- your boots on the ground and your gloves on your starfighter's controls. Our fleets battling in space and Clansmen blasting on the ground on the same side of war is exactly what we need. This'll be our first step towards strong unity." he said, "That is all I had. Other than steering the Mandalorians in this direction, was there anything else you believed was important to discuss, vode?"
[20:43] Mesh'la Morut: shrugged a bit at his question. "I have nothing further. Just contact me with specifics for medical needs."
[20:45] Zoe Gra'tua shook her head. "No. The Gra'tua Alor had nothing more at this time. I am sure he will e in touch in the coming days to follow up and check in." Drumming her gloved hands upon the table.
[20:46] Ghorrik Socarras stepped into the room. A much older man than last he had been present among his kin. His right leg whirred mechanically, as he limped in, his hands eventually bracing on the table in front of him as he silently exhaled, looking about the table to those present, before looking back to Miron. "Socarras would like to pledge to this effort as well. We have very little, but if nothing else, I will offer myself, as one of the last of a legacy of strategists, to the service of our people." He spoke no further, moving to straighten up, and not lean on the table any further.
[20:51] Beskaryc Kyr'am slowly rolled his neck, the vertebra popping in response as he shifted in his chair. "Aliit Kyr'am has voiced their input. I will send word to my fleet to be ready for a jump should the need to arise." he spoke, his hands clasping together as he brought them to where his nose sits beneath his buy'ce. "May our unity be ever strong ner vode, especially in these trying times in this vast galaxy of ours."
[20:53] Shev'la Skirata nods "Aliit Skirata has nothing more to add.... elements of our fleet are already engaged and standing by... on another note, Gra'tua vod." He says looking to Zoe "Alert gar Alor that his ship should be enroute to his fleet as we speak. With that aside.... I've nothing further to add."
[20:54] Zecora Gra'tua (Ayeshe Resident) clicks on her her helm listening to her comms.. She leans down and whispers to Zoe before turning to head out of the room.
[20:55] Nicci Ordo's wristband beeped signifying her Alor's ship had just entered the system. "Figures," she muttered. "Aliit Ordo has nothing further," she grunted, tossing a glare at Soron before she also stood up.
[20:56] Roxy Ne'haryc shook her head, raising a hand to wave dismissively. "Nothing here. I have some things to attend to, but I'll be in contact for further details." She rose to her feet as well, rolling her stiff shoulders as she did so.
[21:02] Soron inclined his head a few consecutive times as his attention jumped from Mandalorian to Mandalorian. He opted to address Ghorrik first, "Clan Socarras is welcomed with open arms on the battlefield -- the contract will be for all Mandalorians willing to fight for their people. To echo Besk's notion, this'll unify us. On that note -- spread the word amongst the Clans, vode. Make it known that the Mandalorians now fight as a united front in Hapes space, and that any Mandalorian willing to fight should contact the Journeyman Protectors for assignment." he said, and with that rose to his feet himself, grabbing up his helmet only to hold it in his two hands, "Keep your communication frequencies active, vode, and prepare for war."
[21:05] Mesh'la Morut: shrugged a bit. "I've nothing further to add." She looked to MIron. "Please contact me to let me know what you need." With that, she stood, and moved toward the lift.
[21:06] Nicci Ordo approached her Alor and nodded at him, "Su'cuy. You missed it." she smirked. "I didn't murder anyone unfortunately."
[21:06] Zoe Gra'tua heard the voice of Zecora and spoke back to her via the comms. After that Zoe gave a deep nod of her helm to those getting ready to departs. To Shev she gave a thumbs up. "I will let him know when he has taken care of ..... well what ever that mess is." Giving a shrug. Turning her head to peer over at Ghorrik for a log moment before speaking. "Seems as tough you have impeccable timing. I think it's about to break up due to an over abundance of fun and excitement." She couldn't help but tease.
[21:07] Beskaryc Kyr'am slowly eased from his seat, the servos in the armor aiding his old bones to rise. He wasnt as young as the rest of the mando'ade at the table that was for certain. "Indeed, Aliit Kyr'am will be ready. Ret, ner vode....until our next meeting upon the battlefield." he paused a moment to look to each of them. "I look forward to standing at your sides when that time comes."
[21:07] Eris Latium Skirata tucks a lock of hair behind her ear and says. "That seemed interesting Buir. Are we heading to the republic, or hapes after this?"
[21:09] Shev'la Skirata momentarily reaches for his buy'ce, slipping it over his head shortly before sealing it. He looks to her "We'll be heading to the Republic but soon we will find ourselves back on the front lines, where we belong."
[21:09] Arden Skirata (Mandokar Resident) finished his bottle and set it on the table, eyes vaguely unfocused and glazed over after the very, very long meeting.
[21:09] Jorval Ordo stepped off the elevator with heavy footfalls, his helmet scanning the armored men and women in the room before falling on Nicci as she approached. "That's unfortunate." Growled the man. His left hand moved across his chest to give a single pat on the new mess of wires and metal that comprised his right arm. "Your handiwork." He said.
[21:09] Hanskattunge Resident tilted her head over to her Husband and smiled briefly before moving out of his way so he could get up and stood by his side waiting to leave.
[21:09] Ghorrik Socarras gave a nod to Zoe, before limping over to her, and placing a hand on her shoulder. He thumbed over to Jorval behind him. "Lek. Runs in the blood, I guess."
[21:10] Eris Latium Skirata nods and carefully twists her hair, till she can get her buy'ce back on easily. She closes her with a pressurizing hiss, and her next words on modulated. "Lead on Buir." She says cheerfully.
[21:11] Nicci Ordo inspected the arm she had cut off, rather approvingly, "Ah, lek. Looks way better than your old one did anyway!" she laughed. "Kind of jealous really. Maybe I will let you cut one of my arms off in our next fight eh?" she joked.
[21:11] Zoe Gra'tua chuckled a bit and gave a nod. "Eh, don't blame int in the blood. I hear great things about those of Socarras." Pushing to stand up and tapping her foot. "Soron, I hope that Verd worked out well for you."
[21:14] Ghorrik Socarras shrugs. "It is a proud lineage. And when I go, I'll make sure that my banner is planted on a pile of bodies." He looked to Miron, nodding his head. "You'll need to tell me your plans for combat in orbit. Might be able to help."
[21:14] Soron 's maroon eyes ran over the gathering. He allowed himself a moment of weakness -- a glorious smile that represented true camaraderie -- before he placed the helmet atop his head and latched the seal. He inclined his head Zoe's way and his filtered voice came through, "Elek, she's a fine mercenary. Twenty thousand credits well-deserved. Vor entye, Gra'tua." he said with a nod, "I do have a Jedi head to hunt in the meantime. Consider the gathering over. The Clans will be rallied to war soon. K'oyacyi, vode." he offered a farewell, and then headed for the elevator himself. He stopped by it, and glanced Nicci's way, "Still willing to help out, vod'ika?"
[21:17] Jorval Ordo rolled his shoulders, "No nerve endings mean I can ram my fist into a man's skull until I grow bored, but..." He listed his left hand and balled it into a fist, "There is something about feeling a skull cave beneath your true skin that is... magical." At that point, his attention was drawn to the other man - the one in green donning t51-B power armor, "What blood is that, burc'ya?..." Before the other could even answer, Jorval's gaze fell upon Miron as he passed by. "Soron." he said in his typical snarling voice - almost more beast than man in its delivery, "Let me guess - You convinced the others to be fodder for the Republic."
[21:17] Zoe Gra'tua gave a nod. "Glad to hear that. If you need her or me just send a comm." Moving to eye Ghorrik "Let's all hope that is way we go."
[21:20] Nicci Ordo looked at Soron. She was mad at him, but she didn't say as much. Really felt like bashing his skull into the wall right now though. In his helmet of course, she wasn't quite to the point of wanting to kill him. "Elek," she huffed in response on whether or not she was coming. She smirked at Jorval. "It didn't take much convincing really. He gave up his own contract to the Hutts to suggest it. Long as we get to break something we grow stronger," she tried to reassure him. Soron certainly hadn't convinced her of anything.
[21:24] Soron 's attention shifted from Nicci to Jorval. He turned his body-mass entirely, tensed his shoulders slightly, and rolled them backwards a single time, "Your alor'ad is correct. Jorval, war is our birthright." he buzzed the oh-so-famous Mandalorian principle, "This is our opportunity to get our people to all point their blasters in one direction, Ordo. The work is honorable, and it will restructure our Clans into becoming a potent military machine again. We all want to fight proudly under one banner, and this contract will allow the Mandalorians to do just that. I'd rather fight a war alongside my vode than plunder alongside dishonorable murderers, and something tells me that, deep inside, you feel that way as well."
[21:25] Ghorrik Socarras "The blood of your Grandfather, Jorval. A man of honor." He placed a metal hand on Jorval's shoulder. "Be of good spirits. A Sith is always a worthy adversary. Besides, the space in Hapes is certainly useful territory under the right guidance. A'denla would have jumped at the occasion, I suspect. After all, the Chancellor and he were... close." He cleared his throat. "There is no sport in fighting the Republic. You know that. Sith, however, pose a much larger threat."
[21:35] Jorval Ordo 's visor stared Soron down. As the protector attempted to sway the (Aruably) most savage of the chieftains toward his cause. At the end of the speech, a rough chuckle was blurted beneath the helmet, "Honorable for the Mando'ade, or honorable for your pockets?" He asked, rhetorically of course. "A military machine to be whored out to aruetyc whores." His gaze shifted toward Ghorrick, and Jorval saw fit to take a few heavy steps in his direction. The alleged proximity to his grandfather piquing his interest, "A'denla Kad be'Socarras laid waste to star systems at the behest of his people, Ruug'la Jag. Not as a slave to the highest bidder..." He turned back around to face Soron, "Ordo will do battle, but do not mistake me for a fool, cabur... Don't pretend that we are more than petty mercenaries to them. The first Republican fool that gets between me and the siite will be gored all the same."
[21:38] Shev'la Skirata makes his way through the turbolift.
[21:42] Ghorrik Socarras doesn't flinch at Jorval's movements towards him. "You aren't wrong. In many ways, I believe he would be very proud of who you have become, Jorval." He replaces his hand on his shoulder, chuckling. "I know I am. Though I may be old, I've still got use. A life to give. I look forward to joining you in battle. It will be nice to fight beside the same blood, once more."
[21:42] Soron cleared his throat almost uncomfortably at Jorval's latter-most sentiment. He allowed his metallic chin to dip into a slow nod, "The Republic are aruetiise, elek, but conducting yourself professionally on the battlefield breeds honor." he buzzed, "I will see you on the battlefield, Jorval. We will fight side by side. There's more to war than meaningless raiding, vod, and you will see that this course of action will benefit our people. We fight for the Mandalorians first and foremost, Jorval, and the presence of a contract doesn't change that." he said, before stepping into the turbolift after Shev, "K'oyacyi, Ordo alor."
[21:43] Nicci Ordo just shook her head. This kid clearly was not around when A'denla used to have them lay waste to systems for the same woman his grandson was now calling a whore. She couldn't "totally" argue with the logic though. "Maybe you should meet your step-grandmother again one day and find out yourself. You did not used to feel that way about her, when she gave you the armor of your grandfather." she replied. "Ret'!" she said to him before entering the lift with Soron.
[21:53] Jorval Ordo glanced toward Ghorrick as he felt his hand on his bare shoulder, "You're the last living link to his name. You are welcome in the halls of Ordo. The verde could learn from your exploits." He said, as a sign of begrudging respect. He had no patience for others of a different clan-name, but he would make an exception for one bearing the name of the aliit sharing his bloodline. His gaze rested on Soron once more, his answer: "At least a mindless raid is done on -our- terms." As he got in line to make his exit, giving Nicci a nod, "Haven't seen her in years."
