Retiring
Nicci Ordo had spent her entire life as a warrior. She had fought countless battles and won many victories, but as she grew older, she began to feel the weight of her years. Her body was tired, and her mind longed for something more than the endless cycle of war and bloodshed.
One day, Nicci made a decision that would change her life forever. She decided to retire from her life as a warrior and seek solace in the vast, dense forests of Endor. It was a planet famous for its diverse wildlife, and Nicci relished the thought of spending her days hunting and exploring the vast expanses of the forest.
Her heart was heavy as she closed up her bar in Iziz. But no one had come to visit it in many months. With the entire royal family of Onderon going missing, the city was in decline, and the business was more of a credit drain than anything else. She had sold the property, and made enough credits to comfortably retire on. She had many regrets...not dying in battle being the biggest one, not having a family being the other. But she was aging fast now, and while she had had many admirers when she was younger, she had proven herself too hardened for any of them.
She loaded up the last of the cargo and boarded her ship, setting course for the forest moon of Endor. She spent her days exploring the woods, tracking prey, and setting traps. The forest was vast and dangerous, filled with creatures that were more than capable of killing her, but Nicci was a skilled warrior, and she was not afraid.
As she hunted and explored, Nicci found a sense of peace that she had not known in years. She was no longer fighting for survival or honor, but simply living in harmony with the natural world around her. She began to appreciate the beauty of the forest and its creatures, and she found a deep respect for the balance of nature. She would trade furs with the Ewoks living there and they would teach her their language and how to create medicines and other things from the plants and trees.
For the most part she kept to herself, and built a hut deep inside of the forest.
